Today, we help clients with total transformation-inspiring complex change, enabling organizations to grow, building competitive advantage, and driving bottom-line impact.
To succeed, organizations must blend digital and human capabilities. Our diverse, global teams bring deep industry and functional expertise and a range of perspectives to spark change. BCG delivers solutions through leading-edge management consulting along with technology and design, corporate and digital ventures-and business purpose. We work in a uniquely collaborative model across the firm and throughout all levels of the client organization, generating results that allow our clients to thrive.

What You'll Do

As a Manager - BCG Vantage on our Topic Activation path within BCG's Insurance Practice Area, you will bring deep expertise in the non-life insurance sector to support client work, content development, and business-building initiatives. You will lead modules and workstreams, working closely with case teams to frame problems, conduct and guide complex analyses, and translate insights into practical recommendations tailored to the client context.

You will also contribute to the development of BCG's intellectual property and Practice Area assets, applying insights from client work to strengthen our offerings. You will guide and mentor junior Vantage and case-team colleagues through projects, supporting their development and helping them deliver high-quality work.

  • Lead modules and workstreams in P&C, commercial insurance, and reinsurance, from problem definition through client-ready recommendations.
  • Apply deep sector expertise to complex analyses, tailoring approaches and insights to specific client needs.
  • Engage directly with clients and case teams, presenting findings and contributing credibly to discussions and working sessions.
  • Develop and maintain relevant Practice Area assets, translating case insights into scalable tools, materials, and intellectual property.
  • Contribute to proposals, content development, and business-building initiatives in partnership with senior colleagues and topic leaders.
  • Guide junior Vantage and case-team colleagues, providing practical direction, mentoring, and feedback throughout project delivery.
  • Manage priorities across client and internal work, maintaining high standards of quality and supporting effective team delivery.

What You'll Bring

  • 3+ years of consulting experience in P&C, commercial insurance, or reinsurance.
  • In lieu of consulting experience, 3-6+ years of relevant industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • In-depth expertise in P&C, commercial insurance, or reinsurance.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with experience developing practical, client-ready insights.
  • Ability to work effectively with clients, case teams, and colleagues in a global, collaborative environment.
  • Familiarity with Generative AI technologies and practical applications, or willingness to develop expertise.

Who You'll Work With

As a Manager - BCG Vantage on our Topic Activation path, you will collaborate with global topic and sector leaders, case teams, and colleagues across BCG to bring deep insurance expertise to our internal and external clients. You will work closely with Vantage colleagues across levels, contributing your expertise while guiding and supporting junior team members.
