Job description

Job Title

Core Responsibilities:

1. Hires, evaluates, and supervises crew. Provides guidance and training as necessary to develop crew. Sets performance standards, reviews performance, and makes informed compensation decisions in accordance with all applicable Human Resources policies and procedures.

2. Leads the design, build, and deployment of identity and access management technological capabilities that are compliant with enterprise security standards and integrated with enterprise access administration infrastructure. Works closely with senior leadership and other IT teams to align strategies and projects with business objectives.

3. Directs and oversees the implementation of changes to department policies and procedures to meet changing business needs and to achieve department objectives. Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement.

4. Manages the resolution of complex, critical technology security-related issues elevated from team and clients.

5. Provides input on the technical security architecture assessment of vendor solutions and during vendor implementation. Serves as trusted partner in support of contract language related to application security access concepts.

6. Maintains an active understanding of, and contributes to, the broader access management and information security discipline. Serves as thought leader across the enterprise and represents Vanguard externally as a key point of contact for strategic technology vendors and industry partners.

7. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years' experience Identity Access Management and/or cloud security

  • Experience with information security, cloud infrastructure (Azure, GCP, OCI), or IT preferred.

  • Supervisory experience preferred.

  • Experience leading a Global Agile team (Scrum, Sprints, etc...)

Preferences:

  • Experience working with, SailPoint, Okta, Active Directory and Ping

  • Undergraduate degree in related field or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred.
