Job description

Vane Brothers is seeking a Baltimore-based Logistics Coordinator responsible for coordinating and scheduling both marine equipment and personnel.
The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and customer-service friendly, with strong computer skills. Scheduling experience and familiarity with the maritime industry (particularly tugboats/barges) is a plus.
  • EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
    • Associate's degree (Required)
    • Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
    • Bachelor's Degree from a Maritime Academy (Strongly Preferred)
    • 1-2 years of logistics experience (Preferred)
    • Operational experience in the Maritime Industry (Preferred)
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Products (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficient with computers and technology.
    • Maintain strong attention to detail.
    • Critical Thinking Skills.
    • Customer Service Skills.
    • Comfortable with multitasking and managing multiple moving components at any given time.

Work overtime as required / able to work weekends/holidays on a rotational basis
