How you'll contribute
The Ultrasound Technician performs high-quality abdominal, OB, vascular, neonatal, pelvic, breast, and small-parts ultrasound examinations for accurate interpretation by the radiologist in the diagnosis of patient illness. This role ensures proper equipment calibration, maintains an organized work area and adequate supplies, and provides appropriate care to patients across the lifespan. The technologist serves as a clinical resource to physicians and staff regarding scan accuracy and appropriateness, participates in performance improvement and continuing education, and upholds regular, reliable attendance while adhering to safety and infection-control standards.

What we're looking for
Applicants should have
  • Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or School of Radiology required.
  • One (1) year of diagnostic medical sonography experience preferred
  • Graduate of an accredited DMS program or ARRT/DMS certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of hire
