These drivers typically transport people, goods, or packages over short to medium distances. Responsibilities may include safely operating the van, following scheduled routes, assisting with loading and unloading, and ensuring timely deliveries or pickups. They must have a valid standard driver's license, a clean driving record, and good customer service skills.

To thrive as a Van Driver without a CDL, you need a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and basic knowledge of vehicle safety and navigation. Familiarity with GPS devices, route planning apps, and basic vehicle maintenance tools is often required. Strong customer service, punctuality, and reliability are essential soft skills for interacting with passengers or clients and ensuring timely deliveries. These skills and qualities are important to ensure safe transportation, customer satisfaction, and efficient operations.

What are some common challenges faced by van drivers without a CDL, and how can they prepare for them?
