Currently we are recruiting for a Maintenance Technician. This position will apply knowledge of Mechanical and Controls Technologies to new and existing processes to maximize Overall Equipment Effectiveness. Direct and/or participate in root cause analysis and team problem solving activities. They will train, coach, and mentor manufacturing and technical personnel.

Technical Position Qualifications

  • Strong Mechanical Aptitude.
  • Injection Molding Machine Repair and Maintenance.
  • Fault finding and Trouble Shooting Experience.
  • Heater Controls, Valve Gate Controls and Thermolators.
  • Read and understand electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics and prints.
  • Over Head Crane and Forklift Operations.
  • Hydraulics and Pneumatics.
  • Optical, Inductive, Capacitive sensors.
  • Contactors, starters, relays, switches.
  • Power supplies and transformers.
  • Motors and Motor starters.
  • Computer literacy and good knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
  • Knowledge of Common Machine Guarding Devices. Bumper Strips, Light Curtains, Pressure Mats, etc.
  • Lock Out Tag Out.
  • General machine safety, electrical safety and machine guarding: high level of safety awareness (OSHA, NEC and RIA).
  • Supports Quality System for IATF 16949 including but not limited to Corrective and Preventative Actions

Education and Experience.

  • Associate’s Degree preferred or course work in Hydraulic Circuits, Blue print reading, Hydraulic, Pneumatic and Electrical circuits.
  • Minimum 2 years Machine Repair and Maintenance experience.

  • PLC hardware and software.
  • HMI hardware and software.
  • Networks & database operation.
  • Servo and variable frequency drive hardware and software.
  • Robot set up and programming.
  • Vision systems set up and programming.
