Job Summary:

The Business Development Analyst Intern is primarily responsible for analyzing the function and effectiveness of financial acquisitions and conducting quantitative analyses of investment programs and financial data, including valuation of business assets. This role builds and maintains client relationships and applies industry expertise to support smooth, reliable investment and acquisition processes.

This role is a strong fit for someone who is a natural relationship-builder, thrives in a fast-paced sales environment, and can manage multiple client relationships and pipeline priorities at once—while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and follow-through. Priorities may shift with market conditions, and the Analyst is expected to adapt while keeping a high standard of quality in their work.

Essential Functions (including but not limited to):

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, understanding their unique needs and aligning our services to provide tailored solutions.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and potential opportunities for new clients.
  • Proposal Development: Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling, customized proposals for potential management opportunities.
  • Partnership Development: Cultivate strategic partnerships with real estate agents, property developers, investors, and other relevant industry stakeholders to expand our reach and enhance our service offerings.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement an outreach strategy to find and contact potential management opportunities.
  • Pipeline Management: Track and manage leads and opportunities through the sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-up and accurate data input.
  • Client Education: Educate clients about our property management services, income-generating strategies, and core capabilities.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and evaluate new geographic markets for potential business expansion and develop strategies to penetrate these markets.
  • Performance Metrics: Set and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) related to lead generation, monthly recurring revenue, and total leases.

Task List & Calendar:

Daily:

  • Reach out to potential clients using different mediums of communication.
  • Update the sales tracker to maintain consistent and accurate data of potential client outreach.
  • Keep clients, brokers, and other key individuals apprised of information regarding their markets.

Weekly:

  • Underwrite potential management opportunities.
  • Schedule calls with potential clients and brokers.

Monthly:

  • Schedule lunches with brokers and potential clients.
  • Attend important networking events that involve markets we currently operate within.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR)
  • Total leases under management
  • Total proposals sent

Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of economics, investment, and operational principles.
  • Experience reviewing market data and creating presentations based on the data.
  • Skilled in performing SWOT analysis.
  • Excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and basic accounting skills.
  • Strong English reading and writing skills for auditing and reporting tasks.
  • Microsoft Excel proficiency preferred.
  • Ability to manage projects and multitask several processes at once under stressful conditions.
  • Skilled at developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with other teams to provide the best service for clients.
  • Experience analyzing financial statements.
  • Ability to develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work.
