Position Overview

Valor Center for Mental and Behavioral Services is actively seeking dedicated Licensed Mental Health Therapists, including Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC), and Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW), to join our team. This full-time, remote role is geared towards professionals committed to providing exceptional mental health care to diverse communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine clients' mental health needs, developing tailored treatment plans that reflect their unique circumstances.
  • Provide evidence-based therapy services across various formats including individual, group, and family therapy, utilizing modalities best suited to each client's requirements.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, case managers, and other clinical staff to implement cohesive treatment strategies that address both the immediate and long-term needs of clients.
  • Engage in effective crisis intervention strategies for clients in acute distress, employing compassion and expertise to stabilize situations and connect them to necessary resources.
  • Participate in community outreach initiatives aimed at raising awareness about mental health issues and promoting destigmatization of mental illness through informative workshops and presentations.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our diverse client population includes individuals from various socioeconomic, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds, each presenting unique challenges and needs. As a mental health therapist at Valor Center, you will have the opportunity to work with clients coping with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health conditions. Qualifications
  • Must hold an active and independent license as a LMFT, LCSW, LPC, or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
  • A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills are essential to building rapport with clients and fostering therapeutic relationships.
  • Cultural competence and sensitivity to effectively engage with and deliver care to clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities to ensure timely documentation and compliance with clinical guidelines.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in a community mental health setting or similar environment is highly regarded.
  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote therapy practices is preferred, ensuring adaptability in delivering care.
  • Experience in crisis intervention and emergency response will be beneficial for handling acute situations effectively.

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and credentials.
