Our firm has been professionally advising in the Santa Barbara community since 1969, and our unique value proposition is to be the single point of contact for all investment, insurance, and employee benefit complexity that family or small business and its owners will encounter. We are currently in a position of growth and seeking the right new members for our team to take us to that next level! We are a high energy team, who enjoys constantly exceeding our clients' expectations, and helping both them and our team members lead their very best life. We embody the Santa Barbara lifestyle and are looking for a qualified candidate who will appreciate working 3 days per week, job-sharing with our other Director of Frist Impressions.

JOB DUTIES

In this role you are largely responsible for the ongoing communications of the firm, which may include scheduling meetings and sending written correspondence. It is your job to ensure there is always paper in the printers, office supplies at the ready and that the entire office (especially the conference room) looks epically impressive. As the DISTRACTION DESTROYER®, it is your job to do everything possible to ensure the office operation remains smooth and efficient. Any and all issues which may prove to be a distraction to one of your team members should be pre-emptively crushed whenever/wherever possible.

Expectations of capabilities includes but is not limited to:

  • At all times be smiling and welcoming as YOU set the stage/tone as the first impression
  • Self- motivated systems designed to ensure all office equipment is always operational
  • Ensure all client communication is impeccably polished.
  • Absolute accuracy of all database Data Entry in compliance with the instructions to CRM & PO.
  • Execution of general office administrative functions at the highest levels of competency. For each area of responsibility, it is imperative that you possess a mastery of processes and templates to ensure your actions are efficient and in alignment with the firms “Brand”.
  • Demonstrate strong office leadership and perhaps have the strongest command of our core guiding principles:
  1. Golden Rule- Treating the Clients and Telemarketers alike as you would wish to be treated.
  2. Time Management – Must be remarkable, due to the perpetual anticipated interruptions, and need to keep the remainder of team on point, being able to step in and help others to get the job done with little/no notice.
  3. Best Version – Lead by example with interpersonal growth in all areas; and support all team members in their respective growth.
  • Marketing: This component of the role entails administratively accomplishing an array of activities which are intended to strengthen our relationships with our clients as well as provide them with an enjoyable means to introduce our firm to their connections.
