Job description

Obstetrician/Gynecologist Generalist

An immediate opportunity is available with the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of District Medical Group (DMG), practicing at Valleywise Health Medical Center (formerly Maricopa Medical Center). Valleywise Health is opening a new 240-bed teaching hospital affiliated with Creighton University School of Medicine. The new hospital is designated as a state-of-the-art Level 1 Trauma and Regional Burn Center.

Valleywise Health co-sponsors nine residency programs affiliated through the Creighton Arizona Health Education Alliance and Phoenix Children's Hospital and is well situated in central Phoenix. The position would include employment through DMG, a 400+ multi-specialty group exclusively contracted to provide patient care and teaching. This position will support the educational initiatives of the OB/GYN department's associated teaching programs.

OB Generalist

  • Flexible inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
  • Duties include labor and delivery, outpatient clinic staffing, as well as gynecology consults and surgeries.
  • Regular schedule is inclusive of weekend and night shifts.

Candidates must have MD/DO degree, Arizona medical licensure, ACOG Board-certified or Board eligible.
