Description At Valley Milk, we're more than a dairy manufacturer we're a team committed to producing high-quality milk powders and dairy ingredients that nourish families around the world. Every load of milk that enters our facility begins with one critical role: the Milk Receiving Operator. If you're safety-focused, mechanically inclined, and take pride in ensuring quality from the very beginning of the production process, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Do As a Milk Receiving Operator, you'll be responsible for receiving, sampling, unloading, and documenting raw milk deliveries while ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include: Receive and unload raw milk tankers safely and efficiently Verify tanker documentation, seals, manifests, and wash tags Collect milk samples for laboratory testing Monitor milk temperatures and receiving specifications Operate pumps, valves, transfer systems, and automated receiving equipment Complete receiving documentation accurately Perform Clean-In-Place (CIP) operations and sanitation procedures Monitor storage silos and assist with milk inventory management Work closely with Production, Quality Assurance, Laboratory, and Maintenance teams Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Qualifications What We're Looking For We're seeking individuals who are dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to producing safe, high-quality dairy products. Qualifications include: High school diploma or GED Hold current Weigher & Samplers License Dairy, food manufacturing, agricultural, logistics, or industrial experience preferred Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation skills Basic computer proficiency Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed Previous dairy manufacturing or milk receiving experience is preferred but not required.
