Position Summary
Bill Pearce Motors is looking for a reliable, energetic Automotive Porter to join our team. The Automotive Porter plays a key role in maintaining the appearance of the dealership, ensuring vehicles are clean, organized, and ready for display or delivery while providing support our service departments. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working around vehicles and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Responsibilities
  • Move and park new, used, and customer vehicles safely throughout the dealership.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the showroom, lot, service drive, and customer waiting areas.
  • Wash, vacuum, fuel, and prepare vehicles for customer delivery and display.
  • Organize inventory and ensure vehicles are properly parked and displayed.
  • Transport vehicles between dealership locations, detail departments, body shops, or vendor locations as needed.
  • Perform routine lot inspections and report any vehicle damage or maintenance concerns.
  • Keep vehicle keys organized and follow dealership key control procedures.
  • Support the service teams with daily operational needs.
  • Remove snow, debris, or litter from dealership grounds as needed.
  • Follow all dealership safety policies and maintain a professional appearance.
Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
  • Ability to safely operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality.
