SUMMARY
Greet guests as they arrive and leave the property. Work closely with Valet staff to ensure timely and efficient drop off and pick up guest vehicles. Accurately file guest vehicle keys ensuring they will be readily available for Valet Attendant retrieval.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Accurately issue and retrieve parking tickets for hotel/casino guests
Receive keys from Valet Attendants and ensure they are properly stored
Ensure all information written on key packets is complete and legible
Ensure keys and tickets are ready for Valet Attendant to retrieve vehicles
Maintain transaction log
Monitor inventory of supplies, assist with ordering, and restock items as needed
Answer phone and assist accordingly
Ensure the Valet booth remains organized, clean, and water dispenser is properly maintained
Provide outstanding customer service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow employees
Perform other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Must be at least 18 years of age
Previous experience performing same or similar job duties preferred
Ability to remain organized and calm in a fast-paced environment
Previous experience working in a team or group environment
Able to write legibly on a consistent basis
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Ability to functionally communicate occupational-based English, both written and verbal
Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Degree/GED and/or College degree preferred.
Job related specific experience, i.e. hospitality management {required or preferred}.
Or any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. {always include}
CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES
Current Driver License
DMV 10-year report
Must be able to maintain appropriate Alcohol Awareness card.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, casino environment and effectively deal with customers, management, employees and others.
May reach with hands and arms above shoulder level; bend/stoop, squat, balance, kneel, life and push/pull.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance visions, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
Must be able to run back and forth to the Valet lot consistently during your shift
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work performed indoors and outdoors, alone and frequently with and around others. Team Member will perform work face-to-face including verbal contact with others around computer equipment
The noise level in the work environment is usually {quiet, moderate, loud.
