Job description

On-Call | Schedule: Varies based on business needs | Pay Rate: $8.00 Hourly + Average Hourly Tip Rate: $14.30

Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Valet Attendant is responsible for parking and delivering casino patron's vehicles to and from the casino or hotel entrance. Valet Attendants are responsible for the safety of customer's vehicles. You will report to Valet Leadership.

Primary Tasks:

  1. You will open the door of the car for the guest at the main entrance of the hotel and assist to unload the luggage if any.
  2. Assist customers when exiting or entering the vehicle.
  3. Extend warm welcome and appreciation to every guest.
  4. Offer information about features of rooms, services of hotel and points of interest.
  5. You will drive designated vehicles in a safe manner following established traffic or transportation procedures.
  6. Check and note any damage to vehicle before driving.
  7. Ensure that vehicles are locked and keys are returned to valet.
  8. Retrieve vehicles in a safe manner, opening the doors for guests and thanking them for coming to Choctaw Casinos.
  9. Communicate with dispatchers by radio to exchange information and receive requests for passenger. Use two-way radio for communication with other drivers, security, and management.
  10. Report any suspicious activity on Casino Grounds.
  11. Remove or report any obstructions or hazards on Casino grounds/parking lot such as objects, large items, or any other item that could cause damage to vehicles or cause injury to customers.
  12. Perform errands for customers or managers.
  13. You must be familiar with hotel products, events and promotion, selling the hotel to maximize hotel revenue. .
  14. Follow established procedures of the Choctaw Nation, Choctaw Casinos, and local management.
  15. Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Job Requirements:

Must be 21 years of age

Must pass driving test administered by department before offer being made

Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

Knowledge of defensive driving techniques.

Clear driving record required. No major violations, ((DUI, reckless driving, driving on suspended), no accidents and no more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years.

Prior experience in public or private transportation.

Must be 21 years of age
