As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will have a diverse range of responsibilities aimed at providing superior mental health care, including:

• Coordinating comprehensive service delivery with case managers, families, medical professionals, and educational staff to create cohesive support systems for clients.
• Participating in all clinical staff meetings and training sessions to promote continuous professional development and team cohesion.
• Building and fostering a collaborative, positive team culture that enhances the effectiveness of service delivery.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that take into account developmental and familial factors influencing the client’s mental well-being.
• Conducting thorough mental health evaluations to arrive at accurate diagnoses, formulating collaborative treatment strategies, and adhering to documentation guidelines established by the organization.
• Utilizing creativity in therapeutic interventions to empower clients to set and achieve personal goals, adapting approaches as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Maintaining comprehensive documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with company protocols to ensure compliance and support quality care.

The primary client base you'll serve varies widely, encompassing individuals from different backgrounds and with diverse mental health needs. You will engage with patients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other related conditions, requiring a sensitive and tailored approach to counseling. Your expertise and compassion will be vital in creating a trusting environment, facilitating effective communication and therapeutic success.

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A master's degree in behavioral sciences or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Possession of a valid counseling license (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC) is required.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats.
• Experience working with a diverse client population and an understanding of the unique challenges faced by individuals from varying backgrounds.
• Proficiency in Office 365 and familiarity with Electronic Health Record systems; experience with Valant is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and document services efficiently, ensuring all paperwork is submitted in a timely manner.
• Capacity to model healthy professional boundaries and ethical standards in client interactions.
