Authorizes and reviews utilization of mental health and substance abuse services provided in inpatient and intermediate care settings; collects and analyzes utilization data. Assists with discharge planning and ambulatory follow up activity; provides member assistance with mental health and substance abuse issues, and participates in QI projects. Manages a caseload of ICM members if assigned.

License: LPC, LCSW or RN

Additional Information

Requirements/Certifications: This is a Temp - to Perm position!!!



Hours: 8am-4:30pm or 8:30am - 5pm. This will be determined by the manager



License: LPC, LCSW or RN


Education: All licenses require a Master's Degree EXCEPT for the RN. The RN requires a Bachelor's Degree.


Training: 1 week of formal training and then floor training.




The selected candidate will authorize and review utilization of mental health and substance abuse services provided in inpatient and intermediate care settings; collect and analyze utilization data. Assist with discharge planning and ambulatory follow up activity; provide members assistance with mental health and substance abuse issues, and participates in QI projects. The selected candidate will manager 10-15 reviews/day. He/She must be able to type and talk at the same time, comfortable with working in a cubical environment and navigating through multiple systems. Managed Care experience will stand out on the resume. In a short summary or in the note section, please list where your candidate has attained the managed care experience and the wpm typing score. Providing this information with reduce the risk of your candidate being short listed due to experience AND/OR the delay of submitting a potentially qualified candidate to the manager due to having to asks additional questions through the tool because relevant experience/skills are not displayed on the resume.
