We are currently seeking a Rental Coordinator to join our team. This role is ideal for a motivated and passionate self-starter with a strong entrepreneurial drive. You will be responsible for the sales and operational requirements of the rental department, maintaining a commercial rental fleet, prospecting new commercial accounts, and supporting existing client relationships to secure long-term rental reservations. While industry experience is an asset, it is not required.

• Independently oversee day-to-day rental reservations and customer communication (inbound and outbound), ensuring fleet utilization is optimized.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive repeat and future business.
• Manage communications between commercial customers and their insurance providers to ensure appropriate vehicle coverage.
• Follow company policies and procedures related to credit, contracts, and billing.

You must have a valid G License and clean driver's record.

What you'll be doing:

• Execute on daily and weekly prospecting targets, including cold calling.
• Identify key prospecting territories and participate in live prospecting activities.
• Contribute to the development of rental pricing strategies.
• Maintain accurate and timely billing for rental charges.
• Complete check-in and check-out procedures for daily rentals.
• Coordinate with service staff to schedule fleet maintenance.
• Monitor vehicle cleanliness, complete light clean-ups, and ensure vehicles are fueled and ready for customers.
• Conduct daily yard inspections for a fleet of approximately 150 vehicles, including pickup trucks, cargo vans, dump trucks, Class 5 trucks, and Class 7 trucks.
  
• Inspect and communicate damages, complete daily vehicle inventories, and ensure all required insurances are in place.
• Provide exceptional customer service by clearly communicating policies, including toll road procedures, maintenance updates, and monthly renewals for long-term rentals.
  
• Collaborate openly with all departments to deliver the best possible customer experience.
• Uphold professional standards in all interactions, ensuring courtesy, compliance, and brand integrity.
