Responsibilities
As a Regional Maintenance Support Manager, you will provide hands-on support, guidance, and consultation for all aspects of physical plant operations across assigned centers throughout Mississippi (12 centers located in MS) with occasional support to Alabama locations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Provide ongoing training, coaching, and support to center maintenance departments to ensure compliance with company standards and best practices.
  • Train staff on the use and management of the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
  • Review contractor proposals and provide consultation regarding project scope, pricing, and recommended solutions.
  • Manage contractors during projects, inspect completed work, and address any deficiencies or discrepancies.
  • Conduct comprehensive facility audits, including:
    • Life Safety compliance
    • Equipment condition assessments
    • Building appearance evaluations
    • Deferred maintenance reviews
    • Safety inspections
    • Capital improvement needs assessments
    • Maintenance department evaluations
  • Interpret building plans, specifications, property condition assessments, and other technical documentation related to facility operations and equipment.
  • Perform maintenance repairs and serve in the capacity of Maintenance Supervisor at assigned centers when needed.
  • Respond promptly to facility emergencies, urgent maintenance issues, and operational concerns.
  • Maintain timely communication and responsiveness to phone calls, emails, and other electronic communications.
  • Participate in regional meetings, training sessions, and operational initiatives as requested.
  • Interpret and implement company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Complete assigned projects, audits, and reporting accurately and within established timelines.
  • Assist centers in maintaining safe, functional, and attractive environments for residents, visitors, and staff.

Qualifications
  • Flexibility to travel extensively within assigned regions as needed.
  • Experienced troubleshooting and repair of HVAC equipment preferred.
  • EPA certification preferred.
  • Electrical experience preferred.
  • Troubleshooting and repair of equipment is required.
  • Prior healthcare maintenance experience preferred.
  • Possess critical thinking skills to solve complex problems.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Computer skills necessary.
