Island Realty is looking for someone interested in joining a seasoned team of dedicated Vacation Rental Property Managers, or as we fondly refer to them, "Owner Representatives", who each oversee a portfolio of Vacation Rental properties on picturesque Isle of Palms and Sullivan's Island, SC.

Job Summary

A Vacation Rental Property Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of vacation rental properties, ensuring that they are well-maintained and financially viable, along with maintaining a high level of communication with owners and guests.


Key Tasks and Responsibilities


  • Support guests and owners to include handling concerns, going to properties, inspecting, meeting with guests and owners to facilitate resolutions

  • Work closely with Guest Services, Marketing, Isle Fix It (Maintenance), and Isle Clean It (Housekeeping) to facilitate good communications between departments

  • Analyze reservations and revenue reports to ensure profitability, understand trends, and find areas that need improvement

  • Oversee progress of annual property inspections

  • Develop annual projection of rental revenue and set monthly and quarterly revenue goals

  • Assist OR department team members with implementing plans to increase income in properties with low revenue

  • Answer OR department phone line as needed

  • Respond to all email and telephone inquiries in a timely, professional manner


Education and Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree or combination of education + work experience equivalent required

  • 2 years of property management experience required

  • Property Management license required  

  • Previous sales experience preferred
  • Hospitality experience preferred


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and database management systems
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Pleasant, customer service-oriented demeanor
  • Problem solving abilities under pressure
  • Self-starter, ability to work independently

Work Schedule

  • Workdays vary; hours between 8:30am-5:30pm with some variation based on needs of the business
  • Weekend availability necessary to cover rotating weekend shift 
  •  Training (30-day minimum) must be completed on-site at Isle of Palms, SC location.
