About Us: Most of our homes are located within Beachwalk Resort - a magical place located right across from Lake Michigan’s most beautiful beach where charming cottages and grand beach homes are nestled behind picket fences inviting neighbors to chat and vacationers to reconnect with family. In addition to the 90+ homes within the resort, we manage an additional 40+ units in other areas of Northwest Indiana and nearby. These homes are individually owned and contracted with us for vacation rental management.
Job Summary:
This team member plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our property, ensuring that outdoor spaces, grills, and communal areas are well-kept and ready for guest use. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work and is committed to providing a welcoming environment for our guests.

This is a seasonal position only. Our season runs from May to Mid-September. 
Responsibilities:
  • Clean and maintain rental home decks, porches, yards and patios.
  • Remove dirt, dust, cobwebs, and any debris from exterior areas.
  • Ensure outdoor furniture is properly arranged, clean, and in good condition.
  • Sweep and clear walkways, driveways, and common areas of leaves, sand, and debris.
  • Inspect and maintain the cleanliness of outdoor lighting fixtures and decorative elements.
  • Ensure garbage and recycling bins are properly placed and not overflowing.
  • Report any damages or maintenance needs to the appropriate team.
  • Grill Maintenance
  • Clean and sanitize grills at rental properties after guest use.
  • Ensure grills are stocked with propane or charcoal (if applicable).
  • Inspect grills for any damage or maintenance needs and report issues.
  • Firepit & Outdoor Common Areas
  • Clean and organize firepit areas, removing debris and ensuring they are guest-ready.
  • Arrange seating around firepits and outdoor gathering spaces.
  • Additional Duties
  • Assist other team members with cleaning outdoor gathering spaces.
  • Guest & Safety Considerations
  • Perform routine checks of outdoor amenities to maintain guest safety and comfort.
  • Report any maintenance concerns to the appropriate team members.
  • Provide friendly customer service if interacting with guests while on duty.
Requirements
  • Ability to be on your feet for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.).
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull moderate weight (such as grill lids, propane tanks, and outdoor furniture).
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to drive (drivers license required).
  • Previous experience in grounds keeping, maintenance, or hospitality is a plus but not required.
Work Schedule & Compensation:
  • Flexible schedule, including mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Competitive hourly pay based on experience.
  • Employment Length: 1 - 3 months
  • Starting Rate of Pay: $15/HR
