Position Summary

We're seeking a driven, relationship-focused Business Development Manager / Account Executive to grow our vacation rental portfolio across Destin, 30A, and the Forgotten Coast.

This is a unique opportunity to step into a large, high-value territory and represent an established, trusted brand in the market. You are not starting from scratch; you are selling behind a company with strong brand recognition, proven results, and an existing footprint across the Panhandle.

At the same time, this role offers the excitement of building something new. As a foundational member of the business development team, you will help shape how we acquire new properties, develop relationships in the market, and scale our portfolio. If you're entrepreneurial, motivated by results, and excited by both autonomy and impact, this role offers significant upside.

Key Responsibilities

Property Owner Acquisition

  • Identify and pursue new vacation rental property owners and investment opportunities
  • Prospect through real estate agents, brokers, builders, investors, and existing short-term rental owners
  • Conduct outbound outreach via calls, email, direct mail, networking events, and in-person meetings
  • Follow up with inbound leads generated through marketing campaigns and partnerships
  • Design and execute targeted email campaigns to engage prospective property owners
  • Maintain a strong presence at local events, festivals, and networking opportunities

Sales & Pipeline Management

  • Present property management solutions, revenue projections, and performance strategies
  • Educate homeowners on how to maximize rental income, occupancy, and long-term asset value
  • Guide owners through the management agreement and onboarding process
  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, tracking all activity and follow-ups
  • Own the full sales lifecycle from first touch to signed contract
  • Work closely with marketing, revenue management, and operations teams
  • Ensure a seamless transition from signed deal to property onboarding and launch

Market Development & Relationship Building

  • Build long-term relationships with real estate agents, developers, investors, HOA communities, and second-home owners
  • Establish yourself as a local expert in vacation rental management
Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of sales, business development, or account executive experience
  • Proven ability to generate leads, manage a pipeline, and close deals
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills
  • Experience in real estate, hospitality, or vacation rentals is highly preferred
Compensation, Benefits, & Schedule

Salary - 40-50k depending on experience. OTE $110,000 with uncapped comissions. top performers earn ~200k

Bonus

  • Base plus commission structure in place with potential for volume bonuses.
