Job description

Meadow Gold Dairy in Boise, ID is hiring a Cooler/Warehouse Vacation Relief Operator. This position will perform job duties within the cooler/warehouse environment to provide relief across all shifts for planned vacations and unexpected absences, to ensure the receiving, storing and distribution of product efficiently and accurately.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in the loading and unloading of trailers
  • Monitor product, materials, and equipment to ensure items are readily available
  • Rotate stock according to code dates to ensure first-in, first-out rotation (FIFO)
  • Complete any task assigned due to vacancy within the department by the on-shift supervisor
  • Record movement of stock in and out of work area
  • The requirements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employee, but is not a complete list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required.Other duties may be assigned as required by the on-shift supervisor

Progressive Wage Rates:

0-6 months from date of hire The rate=$23.27

6-12 months from date of hire The rate=$24.64

12+ months full rate of pay=$27.38

Days off/shifts will vary depending on planned vacation, absences or business needs.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Production or general work experienced preferred
  • Certification and/or License - forklift certification preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Able to follow directions and carry out instructions

  • Able to legibly write entries for record keeping
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
