The VA Eastern Colorado Health Care System, located at the state-of-the-art Rocky Mountain Regional Medical Center, invites applications for a Board-Certified Diagnostic Radiologist (Mammography) to join our distinguished team. Position Highlights and Scope of Practice As a valued member of our Radiology department, you will:

  • Supervise and/or perform diagnostic imaging utilizing x-rays, ultrasound, MRI, radiopharmaceuticals, contrast media, and other advanced techniques.

  • Interpret a wide range of complex diagnostic studies and procedures.

  • Perform invasive and therapeutic procedures, including those related to diagnostic radiology and nuclear medicine, ensuring the highest standards of patient care.

  • Practice comprehensive breast imaging and procedures under delineated privileges.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree

  • Active, unrestricted license from any U.S. state or territory

  • U.S. Citizenship

  • Current Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) qualification for performing and interpreting breast imaging procedures across all modalities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fellowship training in Mammography

  • Proficiency in performing breast biopsies, including stereotactic-guided procedures

  • Experience with breast MRI

  • Demonstrated ability to interpret a broad spectrum of diagnostic imaging examinations

  • Significant expertise with breast imaging interpretation; more than five years' experience strongly preferred
