Job description

Planate Management Group (PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, and Orlando, Florida USA with a technical support center in South East Asia and East Africa, that provides program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies, all over the world.
We are looking for RCDD-certified IT Infrastructure Managerto join the VA Milwaukee Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) Infrastructure Upgrade project. In this role, you will provide construction management oversight for telecommunications and data communications infrastructure, ensuring quality, schedule, and compliance throughout the multi-year project. You will work onsite at VA Milwaukee, maintain daily progress and inspection reports, and coordinate closely with the Electrical Engineer and the project team to keep the project on track.
This position is contingent upon the award of the contract with the proposal submission due on January 15, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide construction management oversight for EHRM telecommunications and data communications infrastructure
  • Focus on Telecommunication Rooms, fiber optic systems, and network infrastructure
  • Work in close coordination with the Electrical Engineer assigned to the project
  • Read, interpret, and apply contract documents and construction drawings
  • Maintain daily progress and inspection reports
  • Lead inspection and quality assurance activities to ensure effective project oversight

Qualifications to be successful in the role:
  • Active RCDD certification (required)
  • Minimum six years of experience in design and/or construction of telecommunications and data communications infrastructure
  • Experience supporting healthcare and IT facilities/projects
  • Strong communication, language, and computer/software skills
  • Ability to understand and master contract document requirements
