Job description

Overview

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting multiple Operating Room Registered Nurses to support the VA Outpatient Clinic/Ambulatory Surgery Center located at the Martinez VA CBOC at 150 Muir Road, Martinez, CA 94553. The schedule is typically Monday-Friday, eight hour shifts. No weekends, after hours or call. If you accept employment with Ansible, you must also acknowledge that any assigned schedule is subject to change at the direction of either Ansible or its customers.

Responsibilities

  • Function as both a Circulating Nurse and Scrub Nurse

  • Support mostly minor, outpatient surgical cases

  • Maintain sterile technique and ensure OR safety standards

  • Assist surgeons and proceduralists during cases

  • Prepare operating rooms, equipment, and supplies

  • Position and prep patients for procedures

  • Monitor patient status throughout procedures

  • Document care in the VA electronic health record

  • Surgical Services Supported -

  • Function as both a Circulating Nurse and Scrub Nurse

  • Support mostly minor, outpatient surgical cases

  • Maintain sterile technique and ensure OR safety standards

  • Assist surgeons and proceduralists during cases

  • Prepare operating rooms, equipment, and supplies

  • Position and prep patients for procedures

  • Monitor patient status throughout procedures

  • Document care in the VA electronic health record

  • Circulate or assist with moderate sedation cases (if trained)

  • Float to:

  • GI suite (2 suites onsite)

  • Preโ€‘Op

  • PACU / Recovery

  • Collaborate closely with a small, teamโ€‘based OR staff

  • Support patientโ€‘focused, highโ€‘quality ambulatory care

Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license

  • Any U.S. state license accepted

  • Current BLS (CPR) โ€“ American Heart Association

  • ACLS (if required based on assignment)

  • Operating Room experience required and must be able to scrub and circulate.

  • No sponsorship available 

Position Pays: $69 - $72/hr 

All candidates must be able to:

  • Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift

  • Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist

  • Lift up to 20 lbs

  • Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance

  • Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
