Behavioral Health Technician

Position at Clarvida - Pennsylvania Job Title: Behavioral Health Technician Location: Tobyhanna, PA Employment Type: Part-time Salary: $18.50/hour

HIRING FOR 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR!

About the Role Clarvida is hiring a Behavioral Health Technician to provide one-to-one behavioral health services to children, adolescents, and young adults (ages 2–24) in home, school, and community settings across Pennsylvania. This is a full-time role that supports clients with emotional or behavioral challenges and promotes age-appropriate independence and stability. Guided by a Behavioral Consultant, you'll follow a personalized treatment plan that includes behavioral interventions, skill reinforcement, and family education. You'll work directly with clients and caregivers, helping reduce service dependence while promoting culturally competent, recovery-oriented care.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver 1:1 behavioral health services to youth (ages 2–24) across home/school/community settings
  • Follow treatment plans designed by the supervising Behavioral Consultant
  • Promote age-appropriate functioning and skill development
  • Set clear boundaries to reduce dependency on services
  • Provide parent training and caregiver support
  • Offer culturally responsive, trauma-informed care
  • Maintain daily travel and documentation of client progress

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Pennsylvania driver's license
  • Ability to obtain PA Act 33, Act 34, and FBI clearances
  • CPR/First Aid training (infant/child) or willingness to complete training
