Overview
Accounting Manager
We're looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join Behavioral Innovations and help lead our accounting function in a fast-paced, high-growth healthcare environment.
Reporting to the Corporate Controller, this role will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, lead the monthly close process, strengthen internal controls, develop accounting team members, and drive process improvements that support continued organizational growth.

What You'll Do:
  • Lead daily accounting operations, including general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, cash receipts, AP, and AR
  • Manage accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
  • Prepare and review financial statements, journal entries, and management reporting
  • Maintain compliance with US GAAP, internal controls, tax requirements, and applicable healthcare regulations
  • Support audits, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
  • Analyze financial results to identify trends, variances, risks, and opportunities
  • Partner cross-functionally with Revenue Cycle and Operations on revenue recognition and financial reporting
  • Identify opportunities to automate and improve accounting processes
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of accounting professionals

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ years of accounting experience, including supervisory experience
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial statements, and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Demonstrated experience managing close processes and internal controls
  • Strong ERP and financial reporting systems experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven, high-growth environment
  • Sage Intacct experience is a plus
