Job description

E-logic is seeking an Engineering Technician V to support rapid prototyping, tactical assembly, and system integration for Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) under the Missile Systems Integration, Threat Engineering, and Weapons Effectiveness Division (H30). This position provides essential hardware support across land-based laboratories and onboard U.S. Navy vessels during critical test and engineering events.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate, assemble, solder, and connect components, cables, wiring harnesses, and circuit card assemblies. Troubleshoot, repair, and install tactical computers, servers, radars, telecommunications devices, and sensory equipment.
  • Support temporary platform installations onboard ships, asset outfitting, and off-site system demonstration events. Conduct shipboard topside surveys, analyze ship drawings, and assist in validating pointing and firing cutout zones. Assist with the physical layout, updates, and repair of development and tactical laboratory networks.


Qualifications & Requirements:


  • Secret clearance is mandatory.
  • Must hold or be able to obtain a valid 10-hour OSHA Maritime Shipyard Employment Course #7615 completion card within 60 days of hire.
  • Must be physically fit to stand, walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and lift up to 50 lbs independently in a rugged test environment.
  • Must be comfortable ascending and descending vertical ladders on naval ships pier side or underway.
