Job description

Sr. Program Manager UIUX Design

In this key role, you will be responsible to manage the operational implementation of the user interface and experience from concept into production. You will be the interface between the UIUX design team and digital engineering. This role mainly focuses on guaranteeing the seamless integration and execution from early-stage design concepts until final production.

We are looking for an passionate person with a strong mindset that can lead and understand the complexity of feature and requirement implementation between hard and software in an automotive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementation: You will manage the entire UI/UX feature and concept implementation and execution from the early concept phase to the start of production (SOP) and beyond (OTA lifecycle).
  • Timing: You will be responsible to define roadmaps, managing timelines and ensuring product releases in time.
  • Stakeholder: Excellent Cross-functional communication is required as you will be the intersection between the UIUX design team, infotainment and digital engineering. You will secure the translation of the design intent into technical requirements.
  • Tools: HMI Process Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the toolchain from Figma/Sketch/PS to target integration (e.g., Unreal Engine, Unity, Kanzi, or Qt)
  • Requirements: L0-4 requirements implementation linked to high level automotive development process. Customer requirements integration into the vehicle and understanding of requirements balancing processes.
  • Execution: Managing the workflow of complex technical programs with a strong software and hardware component.
  • Process: Creating and improving general development and implementation processes.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years + experience in an automotive environment
  • Project management / Technical program management skills
  • Program management tools like Jira / Confluence / Smartsheet
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities internal and cross functional
  • Strong understanding of software / hardware integration process in an automotive related field
  • Experience with tools like Figma, Photoshop, Unreal Engine, Android, Unity, Kanzi, Qt
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail and ability to propose creative solutions
  • Experience and knowledge in integration of prototype testing
  • Comfortable in a fluid job role and proactive in nature
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in digital product design, software engineering with focus on UIUX or similar field
