Overview

We are seeking a full-time Senior Copywriter with strong UX and Editorial writing expertise to join our team! 

As a Senior Copywriter at Level, you will craft compelling communications that drive engagement, build brand affinity, and foster meaningful customer conversations. You'll work closely with Account, Strategy, Creative, and Technology teams to develop concepts and strategies aligned with client goals. With a focus on messaging, language, and tone, you'll ensure that we deliver the right message to the right audience at the right time. You'll guide and execute cross-channel creative from initial concept through multiple rounds of refinement to final delivery. In some cases, you may also serve as the day-to-day creative lead on ongoing projects on multiple brands.

Responsibilities
  • Develop clear, creative, and engaging copy for campaigns across digital and print media.
  • Collaborate with creative leads and cross-functional teams to execute ideas for web-based UX, social media, video, email, and print.
  • Write in-depth content for landing pages, microsites, and digital experiences that extend messaging across the entire digital marketing ecosystem.
  • Generate original concepts and deliver polished, client-ready content.
  • Work alongside content strategists to interpret business goals and technical requirements into clear, actionable, and user-friendly copy.
  • Partner with experience designers to craft intuitive user flows and page layouts, always advocating for the best user experience.
  • Ensure tone, style, and messaging are consistent across all touchpoints and align with the client's brand voice.
  • Proofread a variety of deliverables-including wireframes, copy decks, and visual comps-for grammar, spelling, and consistency.
  • Integrate consumer insights into concepts and execution through collaboration with Strategic Planning.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of professional copywriting experience in an agency setting, with a strong focus on digital.
  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to articulate creative concepts and strategic ideas clearly and persuasively to both internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Proven success in both editorial and UX writing.
  • Deep understanding of UX principles and how they inform copy.
  • Versatile writing skills with the ability to adapt tone and style across diverse brands and formats.
  • Strong knowledge of trends in digital marketing and the broader interactive space.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, especially under tight deadlines.
  • Experience working collaboratively within cross-functional creative teams.
  • Excellent creative thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and design collaboration tools such as Sketch, Figma, and full Adobe Suite.
  • Experience with telecommunications or technology clients is a plus.
  • A digital/UX-focused portfolio is required and must be submitted with your application. Samples should include UX, technical, B2B, and B2C writing for online video, social media, websites, email, banners, print, and direct marketing.

Compensation Range: $60 - $75 hourly. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting.
