Job description

UX/Graphic Designer tasked to help design intuitive, engaging, and user-centered digital experiences across web and mobile platforms. This role is ideal for a designer who has moved beyond entry-level execution and is ready to contribute meaningfully to UX strategy, research-informed design decisions, and cross-functional collaboration.
You'll work closely with product managers, developers, marketers, and other designers to translate user needs and business goals into thoughtful, usable solutions. We're looking for someone with initiative, a willingness to learn, the ability to be creative and flexible when working on projects. You'll also have to work as part of a team in a deadline driven environment, be able to multi-task, communicate effectively with multiple parties, and be comfortable taking directions and working independently. In addition to UX work, we will be looking for you to put your skills to work in web, email, direct mail, social and print graphics and strategy projects as needed.

User Experience Design
Contribute to the end-to-end UX design process, including discovery, research synthesis, ideation, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing
Create user flows, journey maps, wireframes, and interactive prototypes that clearly communicate design intent
Apply UX best practices, accessibility standards, and usability principles to all design work
Incorporate user research, data, and feedback into design iterations and recommendations
Participate in usability testing sessions and help analyze findings to inform design improvements

Collaboration & Communication
Collaborate with product managers and developers to ensure designs are feasible, scalable, and aligned with requirements
Present design concepts and rationale clearly to internal stakeholders
Work within established design systems and contribute updates or refinements as needed

Visual & Interaction Design
Apply strong visual design fundamentals (layout, typography, color, hierarchy) to UX deliverables
Create high-fidelity designs that balance aesthetics with usability and brand consistency
Ensure interaction patterns and micro-interactions feel intuitive and purposeful

Other
Create innovative designs that are consistent with the brand style guide but can also be flexible in the interpretation of said guidelines.
Participate actively in project meetings as necessary for the accurate, timely, and creative completion of projects.
Be proficient in all technical aspects of the position, from graphic design and typography standards to understanding software and web design.
Work with vendors to finalize projects and send completed/printed materials to agencies, the global team, and/or Dispensers.
Work closely with management, other staff members, the global team, and agency partners to conceptualize and execute marketing materials and products.
Responsible for creative development of the company website design, emails, landing pages, and submission forms. Ability to understand the technical backend of the site and provide strategic direction for the web platform.
Capable of proofing, reviewing, and editing all materials to ensure there are no grammatical or typographical errors. Ability to provide copywriting suggestions is a plus.

  • The target annual compensation for this position can range from $85,000.00 - $95,000.00.
  • Compensation for roles at GN depends on a wide array of factors including but not limited to location, role, skill set, and level of experience
