The Role
Analyze, program, configure, test and implement cloud or on-premise software applications in support of business objectives. May be responsible for part of or all aspects of the application/system life cycle as it relates to citizen development, including coordination with user groups to identify solutions that improve business processes, implementing changes, training, other user-focused activities and prepares specifications. Works with the enterprise software development organization as a citizen developer to plan, manage and implement the installation of application/system upgrades, integrations and overall maintenance of system changes. Align the organization's IT infrastructure with business processes/data to improve the efficiency & productivity of operations and research/recommend changes in application/system environment through internal customization and identify opportunities for increased productivity cost reduction. Develop programming scripts to automate functionality of business applications and conduct user training as necessary.
Must Have
Bachelor's Degree and 0 years of relevant exempt experience.
One of the following may be used as an equivalent to Bachelor's Degree for Information Technology Related Positions Only:
  • NNS Apprentice School graduate
  • Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate
  • Associate's Degree or other formal 2 year program and 2 years of relevant exempt experience or 4 years of relevant non-exempt experience
  • Military Paygrade E-5 or above military experience
  • High School/GED and 4 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant exempt experience
  • High School/GED and 8 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant non-exempt experience
  • A relevant professional certification can be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.
