Job Description

UW Medical Center - Montlake is seeking an Experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our award-winning team.
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

  • We have 150 deliveries a month (as a quaternary care hospital)

  • 70% of our OB moms are high risk with neonates, medically complex co-morbidities.

  • We provide care for up to 14 antepartum patients, 9 L & D patients, 18 postpartum mother/baby pairs.

  • We have antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum services.

  • We staff according to AWHONN standards.

  • We are a certified WHO-Baby Friendly Hospital.

  • Will provide outpatient services if needed.


SCHEDULE

  • 90% FTE

  • 36 hours/week, 12-hour night shifts.


REQUIRMENTS

  • One or more years as a labor and delivery nursing experience

  • Have/obtain a current license to practice as a registered nurse in the state of Washington or MSL

  • Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
