As our System Senior Vice President of Supply & Service Resource Management, you will provide strategic direction for system-wide sourcing, contracting, purchasing, and distribution of supplies, logistics, and inventory management that lowers the total cost of distribution and inventory management functions while improving customer service and support to caregivers.

Every day you will develop a system-wide approach for end-to-end supply integration. You will be expected to lead CommonSpirit's Purchasing Network (group purchasing organization), provide overall management of the CommonSpirit's Contract Connection (online contract management system), research and implement potential system-wide savings by implementing joint ventures and procuring purchasing affiliates, and provide overall management of Managed Print Services.

To be successful in this role, you must have seven (7) years of experience leading multi-billion dollar supply and services spend at a national level, preferably in the healthcare industry.

THIS IS A REMOTE JOB:  

As a remote employee, we will provide you with the equipment needed to work from home, including a laptop, docking station, dual monitors, and accessories. 

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Through collaboration and direct accountability with onsite materials management staff and external stakeholders develops a system-wide approach for end-to-end supply integration that lowers the total cost of distribution and inventory management functions while improving customer service and support to caregivers.
  • Ensures cost savings programs are in place and ensures the continual upgrade of processes and the performance of the day-to-day operations.
  • Oversees strategic sourcing program to achieve cost savings through contract negotiation spend consolidation improved utilization and preferred provider relationships.
  • Leverages materials management technology solutions currently in place to create optimal efficiencies and ensure appropriate information links to other systems

Required:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Seven (7) years of direct management experience in Supply Chain

Preferred: 

  • Masters Degree
  • 10 years of experience in Supply Chain
