Job description

Production Utility & Packaging Operator
Automation Personnel Services is seeking a reliable Production Utility & Packaging Operator for a manufacturing facility in Cullman, AL. This role supports multiple areas of the production process for OSB board manufacturing, ensuring products are properly packaged, labeled, and meet quality standards while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

 
Pay Rate
$17-$21 per hour

 
Schedule and Hours
Second shift: 6:00 pm-6:00 am
Rotating schedule of 4 days on 4 days off

 
Production Utility & Packaging Operator Duties and Responsibilities 
  • Package finished products according to quality and production standards 
  • Apply and verify unit tags, straps, and markings for accuracy 
  • Clean and maintain production areas, including paint booth, strapper area, conveyors, and pump room 
  • Assist with product regrading and general production support tasks 
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of assigned work areas 
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Utility/Forklift Operator Qualifications and Requirements  
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing or production processes preferred 
  • Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety guidelines 
  • Strong time management and attention to detail 
  • Willingness to work in hot, industrial environments 
  • Ability to pass physical, respiratory, and hearing tests
