Job description

As an Associate Project Manager/Project Coordinator in the Project Management Office, you will lead and manage projects that involve the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical systems and solutions. Your role will require strong technical knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices, as well as effective project management skills to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of clients.
You'll be at the heart of our projects, ensuring everything runs smoothly from start to finish. Your day will involve developing comprehensive project plans that outline the scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, and timelines. You'll manage and coordinate resources, including engineers, technicians, equipment, and materials, to keep a portfolio of projects on track from start to finish.
You'll provide technical guidance and expertise to our engineering teams throughout project lifecycles, ensuring high-quality outcomes. Establishing strong communication channels with clients will be key, as you'll need to understand their requirements, provide updates, and address any concerns. Additionally, you'll monitor project budgets and expenditures to ensure they stay within financial targets.
This is a hybrid role in the Seattle area.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; or equivalent technical degree
  • Previous experience in electrical engineering, project management/coordination, or a related role
  • Experience with electrical utilities preferred
  • 2 - 5 years experience
  • Must have valid Driver's License and personal vehicle and willingness to travel 10-15% for site visit requirements
  • PMP preferred
  • Creative critical thinker who can analyze technical details and provide solutions with minimal guidance
  • Curious and active listener: You have a deep hunger to learn, coupled with a willingness to think outside the box. You ask a lot of questions. You recognize there is a difference between "hearing" and "listening.

Benefits & Salary:
  • This position pays between $90,000 and $110,000 annually and is an exempt position.
  • Benefits offered include company sponsored medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plan with company match. Also offered are tuition reimbursement, voluntary life, disability, critical illness, accident and hospitalization plans. HSA or FSA medical accounts and FSA dependent care and transportation/parking accounts are also available. These benefits are subject to employee contribution amounts generally set annually.
  • Full time employees are eligible to earn PTO hours.
  • May be eligible for discretionary bonus as determined by the company.
