Job Summary

Central Mechanical Construction Co. Inc are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee and manage electrical projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent time management skills, and a thorough understanding of electrical systems and codes. This role requires effective communication and leadership abilities to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and in compliance with all applicable regulations.

  • Manage all phases of electrical project development, including estimating, planning, execution, and final delivery.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate implementation of project specifications.
  • Oversee construction site activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to coordinate project schedules and resources.
  • Conduct construction estimating to prepare budgets and forecasts for project costs.
  • Ensure adherence to the National Electrical Code (NEC).
  • Prepares and presents forecasts as part of the monthly project review process to include, if necessary, corrective action to resolve problems and restore quality, safety, productivity, and/or profitability.
  • Implement system design strategies that meet client requirements while adhering to industry standards.
Qualifications
  • Journeyman License (Preferred)
  • Proven experience in electrical project management or a related field within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of plan reading, construction management principles, and contract negotiation.
  • Familiarity with codes/regulations and their application in construction projects.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills for construction estimating and budgeting processes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also demonstrating leadership capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective engagement.
  • Leads by example, is profession in dealing with customers and employees, and follows through on commitments made.
