Job Overview: 

Nexiya is seeking a customer service-oriented Utility Planner Assistant with a background in construction or utilities industries to perform administrative/clerical functions. Roles and Responsibilities: 

  • Provide daily administrative support to staff 
  • Answer Customer Calls/Provide Back Up to Planners as needed 
  • Gathers project information such as schedules, assignments, tasks, and project meeting calendars  
  • Superior organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines 
  • Manage, update, validate database entries and tracking documents to comply with the needs of specific utility programs; including data entry of service orders into SAP 
  • Review documentation and ensure all client information and encounters are tracked and entered in a complete, accurate, and timely manner 
  • Attend staff meetings and record all action items for staff 
  • Other duties as assigned 


Education/Experience Requirements: 

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a projects-related role support role preferred with construction or similar background  
  • Prior work experience with utilities or construction is a plus 
  • Ability to quickly learn and develop strong working knowledge of various software applications 
  • Must be a highly organized individual with strong attention to detail 
  • Strong customer service skills and proactive follow-up (internal and external) 
  • Strong communication and writing skills 
  • Strong computer skills with intermediate expertise in Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Pay Range: 

Min: $ 25 / hour
Max: $ 30 / hour
