The Village of East Troy is seeking a full-time Utility Clerk who will manage water and sewer billing, maintain utility records, assist with reporting, support the Village’s website and social media, and provide general clerical assistance to Administration and Public Works. Additional duties include ordering supplies, attending project meetings, and providing frontline customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED

• Minimum three years’ office experience, including two years in bookkeeping, accounting, or billing (or equivalent combination of education/experience)

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office • Strong organizational and communication skills • Social media and web skills

• Preferred: Customer service experience, business writing, and familiarity interpreting regulations/policies

Compensation

Starting salary $22.57-$25.16/hour DOQ. Includes WRS pension, health/dental, life disability, vision insurance, vacation, sick leave, and holiday pay.


Timeline
