Sr. Billing Specialist 6–12-month contract / possible contract to hire Location: Bee Cave, TX (Onsite) Responsibilities:

  • Processes invoices for payment.
  • Issues and tracks purchase orders.
  • Performs data entry and spreadsheet management.
  • Maintains accounts payable files and records.
  • Responds to vendor and employee inquiries regarding invoices, expenses, and check requests; assists with discrepancy reconciliation.
  • Assists with preparation of 1099s.
  • Billing system setup and maintenance of customer data.
  • Assists with monthly closings, journal entries, and bank statement reconciliation.
  • Assists with related special projects as needed.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
  • Billing system setup and maintenance of customer, tax, and rate table data

Position Requirements:

  • College degree is preferred but not required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of accounts payable experience and 5+ years of billing system experience.
  • UMS – Utility Management Solutions (CUSI) Billing Software experience is a plus.
  • Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel in addition to Outlook and Word.
  • Experience processing large volume customer billing cycles.
  • Working knowledge of computerized registration, billing, and collection procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and must be detailed oriented and able to multi-task.
  • Hard working individual who is adaptable to a high growth and fast paced team environment
