Job description

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to support our production operations. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and pneumatic systems, performing preventive and predictive maintenance, and assisting with equipment installations and upgrades. This is a hands-on position in a multi-craft environment, with opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement projects and overall plant effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on production equipment, utilities, and facility systems.

Execute work orders including inspections, lubrication, cleaning, calibration, filter changes, and repairs.

Partner with production teams to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues quickly and effectively.

Safely perform all duties by following PPE requirements, Lockout/Tagout procedures, and other safety protocols.

Support new line setups, equipment installations, and capital projects.

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and pneumatic machinery, motors, pumps, blowers, mills, and other rotating equipment.

Use diagnostic tools such as multimeters, gauges, calipers, and dial indicators to assess equipment performance.

Operate basic metal fabrication tools (welders, grinders, saws, etc.) when needed.

Complete daily inspections of utilities including chillers, boilers, air compressors, pumps, and RO units.

Maintain an organized, clean, and safe maintenance shop.

Tools & Equipment Used

Standard shop and hand tools (drill press, saws, welders, etc.)

Diagnostic and testing equipment (computers, vibration analyzers, multimeters, etc.)

Forklifts, scissor lifts, and aerial lifts

PPE in compliance with company safety practices

Skills & Abilities

Minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience (required)

Strong mechanical aptitude with proven troubleshooting skills

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Dependable, reliable, and committed to excellent attendance

Strong communication and problem-solving abilities

Capable of working in varied conditions, including heat and heights (ladder work)

Able to wear a respirator for extended periods

Reliable transportation to and from work

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree in a technical field preferred.

Experience: 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience required.
