Job description

POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direct supervision of the Food and Nutrition Director/Food Services Lead, the Utility Aide performs a variety of sanitation duties, including but not limited to cleaning hoods, ovens, floors, washing, and polishing equipment. Places food orders through the computer system and puts away delivery orders. Processes and completes bailing boxes and the recycling for the dietary department. Performs a variety of patient/ employee services, and completes dish room duties.
REQUIREMENTS:
Food Handlers' card from Riverside County or Serv Safer certificate accredited by ANSI required at the time of hire. Previous food service, or Utility Aide experience. Ability to read, write, and follow instructions. Ability to lift 50 lbs or more. Ability to cooperate with coworkers and the public. Customer-oriented attitude.
