Job description

Position Overview
Power your future with Qualus in our Project Management department as an Assoicate Project Manager. Under general direction, assists in managing a large portfolio of electric utility projects to ensure all phases of approved projects are completed efficiently and within scope, on schedule, and within budget. Works closely with personnel to engineer, design, site, permit and construct assigned projects. Assists project managers with securing approval for permits and licenses, budgets materials, contractors, and other resources.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with overhead project management on the project including, but not limited to management of schedule, budget, outage coordination, contract administration. 0-2 years experience.
  • Hybrid position - Will require candidate in office 3 to 5 days per week.
  • Oversee all aspects of assigned projects, ensuring compliance with company policies, regulations, and laws.
  • Manage the development and evaluation process for bid documents related to engineering, design, and construction.
  • Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment for project execution.
  • Ensure thorough documentation and completion of all project phases.
  • Independently manage smaller projects, demonstrating proficiency in the full Project Lifecycle and project controls requirements.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (preferred); Business, related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Requires knowledge in the theoretical and practical application of project management technique and tools including project management software.
  • Assist with overhead project management on the project including, but not limited to management of schedule, budget, outage coordination, contract administration. 0-2 years experience.
  • Hybrid position - Will require candidate in office 3 to 5 days per week.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
