Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and safety-focused Equipment Operator to join our construction team. This position is responsible for operating heavy equipment to support site preparation, grading, trenching, material handling, and other construction activities on utility-scale projects. Candidates must be dependable, adaptable, and committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. (Wages vary by job site.)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in support of construction operations
  • Perform grading, excavation, trenching, backfilling, and material movement activities
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns
  • Follow project specifications, site plans, and supervisor direction
  • Maintain awareness of underground utilities and surrounding personnel/equipment
  • Assist crews with general labor duties when equipment operation is not required
  • Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA requirements
  • Maintain clean and organized equipment and work areas
  • Work effectively in changing outdoor environments and weather conditions
  • Support project schedules through reliable attendance and teamwork
