Compensation is based on experience

We are looking for a safety-oriented Hydro excavating Vac-Truck operator and driver for our utilities and municipalities division. This person will use a high-pressure water wand and vacuum system to dig and efficiently uncover underground utilities for underground utility installation. This is a hands-on position working with and assisting the utility crew. This does require you to be in the elements getting muddy and dirty.

Responsibilities would be but not limited to:

·         Drive the vac truck to and from the job site

·         Set up and inspect equipment before use – pre-trip and post trip

·         Understanding of equipment and proper use of hoses, hand tools, work boom, canisters, remote controller and water pump.

·         Navigate using GPS on and off site

·         Utility line exposure, debris removal, trenching and digging using a high-pressure wand to loosen soil and vacuum system to remove debris

·         Ability to communicate effectively with others

·         Assist with other operational duties as needed

Requirements:

·         Class A CDL Preferred But only Class B Required

·         At least 3 to 4 years experience preferred

·         Ability to pass a drug test and background check.

·         Osha 10 Preferred but not required.

·         Individual needs a strong work ethic

·         Ability to kneel, bend, stoop, stand or sit for extended periods

·         Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds

·         Ability to work outdoors in all inclement weather conditions
