About the Role
Prime Communications is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Utilities Operations Analyst to support the management and optimization of utility services across our telecom footprint. This role is responsible for overseeing utility accounts, validating billing, analyzing consumption trends, supporting vendor performance, and identifying cost-saving opportunities across retail stores, offices, and network locations.
The ideal candidate combines operational ownership with strong data analysis skills and can translate utility data into actionable business insights.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage utility accounts across multiple locations, including setup, transfers, and terminations
  • Serve as the main point of contact for utility providers, including electric, gas, water, and waste vendors
  • Review and reconcile invoices to ensure billing accuracy and identify discrepancies
  • Investigate and resolve utility-related issues such as outages, service errors, and billing disputes
  • Analyze utility usage and cost trends to identify inefficiencies and savings opportunities
  • Build reports, dashboards, and KPIs to improve visibility into utility performance
  • Partner with internal teams including Operations, Finance, Procurement, Real Estate, Construction, and Facilities
  • Support vendor performance tracking, contract administration, and process improvement initiatives
  • Maintain accurate records across utility and internal systems
  • Assist with audits, compliance documentation, and budgeting support

Requirements
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field preferred
  • 2-5+ years of experience in utilities management, telecom operations, facilities, energy analytics, or a related area
  • Experience with utility billing, vendor coordination, or energy data analysis preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and complex formulas
  • Experience with SQL, BI tools, ERP platforms, or utility management systems is a plus
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
