A premier global law firm is seeking a Corporate – M&A / Energy & Infrastructure Associate Attorney to join its Houston office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing energy companies, infrastructure investors, private equity sponsors, developers, and strategic buyers in sophisticated domestic and cross-border M&A and energy transactions.

Ideal Background

• 3–6 years of corporate transactional, mergers & acquisitions, energy, or infrastructure experience gained at a sophisticated law firm

• Experience representing public and private companies, private equity sponsors, developers, infrastructure funds, utilities, and strategic investors

• Experience handling mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, asset acquisitions, divestitures, strategic investments, and corporate reorganizations

• Experience advising clients in the energy and infrastructure sectors, including oil & gas, LNG, midstream, upstream, downstream, power, renewables, utilities, or energy transition projects is preferred

• Experience drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, merger agreements, joint venture agreements, shareholder agreements, operating agreements, and other complex commercial agreements

• Experience managing transactions from due diligence through closing while coordinating multidisciplinary deal teams

• Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, organizational, and communication skills
