Staff Physician - Full Time Pediatric Endocrinologist

Erlanger Health System and The University of Tennessee College of Medicine Chattanooga are seeking a 3rd Pediatric Endocrinologist to join our high volume, community and academic based practice. The successful candidate will join a well-established team of 2 pediatric endocrinologists, a certified nurse practitioner and a certified diabetic educator who work together to provide the best care to the patients in the region.

Education, Training, & Experience:

  • MD or DO degree
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Pediatric Endocrinology
  • Ability to obtain an active medical license in the state of Tennessee
  • Demonstrated leadership experience preferred
  • Academic title will be commensurate with experience

Children's Hospital at Erlanger services:

  • Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit with 58 beds
  • On site Pediatric Trauma Team
  • 33 bed Pediatric Emergency Department with over 40,000 visits last year
  • 14 bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit
  • Additional pediatric programs include cardiology, endocrinology, nephrology, orthopedics, urology, pulmonology, gastroenterology, surgery, medical genetics, comprehensive cancer and blood disorders, psychology, neurology, radiology, physical, speech and occupational therapies.
