Job Title: Chemical Applicator

Role Description:

We are seeking a conscientious and detail-oriented Chemical Applicator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and effective application of chemicals, primarily for purposes such as pest control, agriculture, horticulture, or turf management. This role requires expertise in handling and applying various chemicals, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and maintaining detailed records.

Key Responsibilities:

- Safely handle and apply chemicals according to prescribed methods and company standards.
- Identify appropriate chemical solutions for specific situations and applications.
- Operate and maintain application equipment, ensuring it is in good working order.
- Monitor and document the effects of chemical applications to ensure efficacy and safety.
- Adhere to all regulations and safety guidelines for storage, transportation, and disposal of chemicals.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to explain procedures, applications, and safety measures.
- Regularly update knowledge of chemical application techniques and regulations.
- Conduct routine checks and maintenance of equipment to prevent malfunctions or safety hazards.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in agriculture, horticulture, or a related field is a plus

- Certification or license to apply chemicals, as required by local or state regulations

- Strong understanding of safe handling procedures for chemicals

-Valid UT driver license

- Attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols

- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members
