Job description

Position Overview

Help shape the next generation of freeride athletes at Mt. Hood Meadows. As the Freeride Team Head Coach, you’ll lead the development of our athletes and coaches while helping build a program that challenges young skiers and riders to grow their skills, confidence, and passion for the mountain.

This hands-on leadership role combines coaching, program development, and team supervision. You’ll select and support coaches, coordinate daily assignments, develop age-appropriate training, track athlete progress, and maintain strong communication with athletes and their families. You’ll also work closely with the Meadows Learning Center, Terrain Parks, and other departments to create a safe, progressive, and engaging freeride experience.

If you’re an experienced snowsports professional with a passion for freeride, athlete development, and coaching others, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a growing program. Bring your technical knowledge, leadership skills, and enthusiasm for competition to a team dedicated to developing confident, capable, and passionate mountain athletes.
