Job Description:

1) Answering and re-routing phone calls at the receptionist desk; 2) Receiving, sorting and sending mail and packages via USPS and FDOT's courier services; 3) Receiving guests or the public at the receptionist desk; 4) Filing letters and documents; assisting with scanning FDOT documents filing and archiving, and other related duties as needed.

Knowledge and Skills Needed:

1) Knowledge of general office procedures and practices. 2) Knowledge of the techniques for effectively dealing with people. 3) Skill in providing customer service. 4) Skill in the use of office equipment. 5) Skill in the use of a personal computer. 6) Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer database. 7) Ability to follow oral and written instructions. 8) Ability to review data for accuracy and completeness. 9) Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others. 10) Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
